Our Story
MousePlanner is a labor of love on many levels. It is a love of memories made with my father who was the biggest Disney fan I’ve met. He loved Walt Disney the man, innovator and idealist and I feel a special connection to him when retracing steps from decades ago.
It is a love of the countless, sweet, exhilarating moments I have shared with my son, the wonder, the joy, the euphoria, caught by photos, shared on Facebook, and inspiring round after round of late night planning for our next Disney vacation.
It’s also a love of planning — researching, organizing and perfecting. I have honed these skills in my professional career, but they bring me the most joy when planning a new vacation for my family.
There is so much to do at Disney World, and a lot to know! I felt inspired by the challenge of designing a tool to simplify the process, build the perfect itinerary, and share it with others. I started with my friends and coworkers. Soon a methodology emerged, and I quit my job to pursue it.
