Disney’s Blizzard Beach
Blizzard Beach has a quirky theme — its story is that it was built as an alpine ski resort but its lack of success compelled them to transform it into a wintry-themed water park complete with polka music! True to its theme, the Summit Plummet attraction is a ski jump turned water slide that features a near-vertical, 120-foot, free fall drop from the top of Mount Gushmore. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon
Typhoon Lagoon’s backstory is that it’s what remains after an epic Typhoon struck the pristine paradise and transformed it into the water park it is today, which includes one of the largest wave pools. Each requires separate admission – either a separate ticket or by adding the Park Hopper Plus option to an existing ticket, for a limited amount of visits.
