What is a MousePlan?
Once you have booked your resort, it’s time to make your MousePlan®! Your MousePlan® will help you choreograph your wishlist and create your vacation plan.
There are many ways to “do” Disney and many more ways to “don’t” Disney. A park strategy is essential. This means knowing which park to go to each day, well in advance of your trip. Then build your experiences around that by prioritizing a few “must dos” and having a strategy for doing them.
Once you have your travel dates, the first step is to build your MousePlan. The ideal point to do this is when Disney schedules are available. If using MousePlanner, you can begin this process 190 days in advance of your check in day, giving you 10 days before you begin making dining reservations.
A MousePlan® is your customized park itinerary to help plan dining, FastPass reservations and more. Once you know which park(s) you’ll visit each day, you’re ready to make all your advance reservations – dining, FastPass+, and more!
Why Do I Need One?
Park schedules change each day and and you’ll want to factor in weather, your wishlist, crowd levels, desired dining experiences, and nighttime spectaculars – just to name a few – to pick the best parks each day of your trip.
You’ll need a park plan to make essential advance dining and FastPass reservations up to 6 months before your trip begins! That requires having a MousePlan to know where you’ll be on each day of your vacation.

Customize your Wishlist
- Choose your favorites from our list of suggested experiences to build your Wishlist. Don’t worry if you aren’t sure. You can always go with our recommendations and then adjust your plan later.
Our algorithm will optimize your park plan so you know the best parks for each day of your trip
- We’ll calculate park hours, magic hours, average temperatures, expected crowd levels, special events and more, to find the best parks to visit each day and create your daily itinerary – your MousePlan.
